connection problem with matlab and comsol

hi dear,
i am facing problem to connect matlab with comsol
gives error when i am entering the command in matlab as:
>> mphstart ;
??? Error using ==> mphstart at 161
A connection to COMSOL could not be established. Please check that a COMSOL server is started prior to calling mphstart
